How we handle your information.

A short version

We are a small family cleaning business. We only collect what we need to give you a quote, schedule a clean, send a reminder, or follow up after a visit. We don't sell your information, ever. If you'd like to be removed from our records, write to hello@byfamilycleaning.com and we'll handle it the same week.

What we collect

• Name, phone number, email, and service address — what you give us when you ask for a quote or book a clean.
• Notes about your home that help us do a better job (gate codes, pet quirks, product preferences).
• Photos taken at the end of a clean, used only as proof of work and shared with you.
• Basic site analytics (page visits, device type) to understand which pages help our visitors most.

Cookies

We use a small number of cookies. Some are strictly necessary (they keep the site working). Others help us measure traffic in aggregate — never tied to you personally. You can accept or decline non-essential cookies using the banner at the bottom of the site, and you can clear your decision any time by clearing your browser's site data.

Who sees your information

Only our crew, the office, and the tools we use to run the business (scheduling, invoicing, email). We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for advertising. If law enforcement or a court compels disclosure, we follow the law.

Your rights

You can ask us to: see what we have on file, correct anything that's wrong, or delete your records (we keep a minimal log for tax purposes for as long as the law requires). Massachusetts and California residents have additional rights — write to us and we'll honor them.
